The Body of Christ: Episcopal 101 and 102
You’ve made it here, so now what?  These courses are designed for those considering membership at St. Mary’s and those who want to deepen their life of faith.  These are especially appropriate for newcomers to the parish, to the Episcopal Church, or to Christianity.  Together, Episcopal 101 and 102 serve as preparation for confirmation or reception into the Episcopal Church.
  • Episcopal 101: Cornerstones of the Anglican Tradition will explore the various approaches to scripture, history, theology, ethics, ministry, and prayer within the Episcopal Church.  This course will meet on five consecutive Sunday afternoons from 3:30-5:00 p.m. beginning April 8.
  • Episcopal 102: Cornerstones of Worship explores the various liturgies that frame our common beliefs. We will meet on six consecutive Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m. beginning April 12.
Both courses will conclude with a quiet morning on Saturday, May 12 from 9:00-12:00 p.m.
Please register by Sunday, April 8 with Fr. Chris if you if you are interested in participating in either course.
