Musical Offerings at St. Mary’s 2017-2018  Season

Choral Evensong Featuring St. Mary’s Choir of Men, Women, Boys and Girls
Sunday, May 5 @ 5:00 p.m.

Evensong is a wonderful way to wind down as our Sabbath day comes to a close. Enjoy a 45-minute service of evening prayers, psalms, and canticles, all set and sung by St. Mary’s Choirs to music from the English Cathedral Tradition. Join us in Paca Hall for desserts, cheese and wine after the service.

Epiphany Feast of Lights

Saturday, January 6, 7:00 p.m.

  • St. Mary’s Youth and St. Mary’s Choir of Men & Boys will lead this joyful conclusion to the Christmas season. The drama of the Epiphany will be re-enacted through readings, carols and with the colorful costuming of the Three Kings in procession.
    A reception will follow in Paca Hall. We also welcome your canned food donations at this event for our Epiphany Food Drive–learn more about this seasonal outreach opportunity.

Cathedra Choral Concert

“Astonishing..ravishing” have been used to describe the choral ensemble, Cathedra. Under the artistic leadership of Maestro Michael McCarthy, Cathedra is resident at Washington National Cathedral, but you can hear them at St. Mary’s on April 15! Enjoy a free, full concert of a cappella music from the Tudor and modern eras. A Champaign reception follows in St. Mary’s Paca Hall.
