Funding the Future: A Feasibility Study
How do we build on the Visioning and Beacon work of the past five years and ensure that St. Mary’s stays connected as a community in strength, spirituality, and outreach?
How do we build off the foundation laid by parishioners from our first 100 years and ensure the long-term viability and sustainability of this parish?
Our parish continues to work on a Feasibility Study to discern whether a capital campaign is the proper next step to ensure St. Mary’s sustainability. Our prayerful progress towards a Capital Campaign Feasibility Study has been documented in multiple issues of our Messenger Newsletter. We want to engage the entire congregation in the Feasibility Study. We want to hear from you. Your ideas, questions, and concerns about this potential campaign are vitally important. The Feasibility Study will help us focus and prioritize goals to fund the future of St. Mary’s–whether or not it is through a capital campaign.
Thanks to all who attended our Dialogue Sessions and completed the Feasibility Study Survey!
- Our consultant will be writing a report on the findings from this study to present to the Vestry in April and the Vestry should make a decision about whether to move forward with a Capital Campaign in May. A summary of the report will be available to share with the congregation as well.
- If we decide to move forward with a Capital Campaign, it would most likely be this fall, in conjunction with our Annual Giving campaign. The commitment period for completing Capital Campaign pledges would probably be three years.
Stay tuned for future updates!
